Trick-or-Treating;
All Invited to the City Hall Halloween Celebration
Framingham – Halloween is fun for everyone, and this year’s All Hallows' Eve
(Thursday, October 31) will be no different.
“While Framingham has not yet received its first hard frost which is 28 degrees
sustained for at least four hours, we ask that all residents remain vigilant
when it comes to mosquitos and the risk of EEE when trick-or-treating on
October 31st,” said Dr. Samuel Wong, Director of the Framingham Department of
Public Health. “Those who want to trick-or-treat after dusk should wear long
pants, long sleeve shirts, socks, and shoes, and apply proper insect repellents
before heading out for the evening.”
“Halloween is a time-honored tradition, and we want everyone in Framingham to
enjoy the festivities and stay safe,” said Mayor Yvonne M. Spicer. “In addition
to the traditional holiday fun, we are opening City Hall for the second annual
Spook-takular. Framingham’s City Hall will open its doors to Trick-or-Treaters
Tuesday, October 29, from 4-6 p.m. Everyone is welcome!”
