Wonder who the heck all these candidates are?
I invite you to check out the draft:
http://e-democracy.org/mpls13
This is an exciting "crowd-sourced" directory of candidate links on
the web, Facebook, Twitter, and gosh darn it, their telephone numbers.
Discussion and Tagging
1. Join our city-wide forum for a wide ranging discussion of
election issues and candidates: http://e-democracy.org/mpls
2. We also encourage Twitter users to search for and use #mpls13
to discuss all the races via Twitter with the largest audience:
https://twitter.com/search?q=%23mpls13
3. If you upload election-related video, photos, etc. anywhere
online (YouTube, etc.), use the simple tag: mpls13 (from lots of
content from different candidates can be aggregated)
Volunteer opportunity!
You'll see a link to a Google Doc spreadsheet where we are collecting
candidate information and links. Yes, we want a link to every
candidate on Twitter and Facebook too!
If you believe in helping your fellow voters access information direct
from as many candidates as possible right down the ballot, we need
your help in three ways:
1. Fill in the spreadsheet with more links.
2. Help contact candidates to have them add the logo to their home
page and link to http://e-democracy.org/mpls13 (we will order
candidates by when they link to the shared directory and notify us of
that fact)
3. Help take the source data and build out our directory pages.
(More user friendly.) Next up City Council candidates.
With #1 and #2 you can just do it. With #3, reply to this message or
