Summer in the Beehive: Learn About Honeybee Life in the Tiny Diner Rooftop
Hives Hey all,
Tuesday July 2nd
6-7pm
Join Susan Brown of Mademoiselle Miel and keeper of the Tiny Diner rooftop
honey bees for a monthly group inspection of the hives. We'll open up one of
the hives and take a look at what's going on, talk about what to look for in
the coming month and answer questions. We'll be able to sample honey right from
the hive and hopefully spot the elusive queen! Protective veil will be provided
but plan to wear your own long pants and sleeves.
This class is for pollinator lovers, families, potential, beginner or seasoned
beekeepers. This class will take place the first Tuesday of every month and is
just $5. Sign up for all classes or just come to one! Other class dates: August
6th and September 3rd.
