complete the attached application by Tuesday, October 17.
*Background*:
Gardening Matters is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting and preserving
community gardening across the Twin Cities by connecting gardeners to each
other and to the communities in which they reside.
They support community gardens through networking events, leadership
training, partnerships development, and assisting people in establishing
new community gardens that are successful and sustainable.
We maintain a community garden listserv (COMGAR), provide referrals to
individuals looking for a community garden, and serve as a liaison between
community gardens, the general public and local government.
Gardening Matters believes that community gardeners are the best experts on
community gardening. Other community gardeners have already found answers
to many dilemmas faced by community garden groups.
*Mission*:
Gardening Matters supports successful, sustainable gardens and inspires
gardeners to build resilient communities as they grow their own fresh food.
