I saw this announcement this morning and thought to pass it along to the forum.
It's an article from the Winona Daily News, so many of you have likely seen it.
June 26, 2013
The Blandin Foundation is now accepting applications from Winona residents for
a free weeklong Community Leadership Program held in November.
The foundation offers the training as a way to strengthen rural communities.
This is the fifth time itβs been offered to Winona residents.

I live outside of Virginia, MN up on the Iron Range in the northeastern part of
the state and am connected to the Winona forum vis a vis doing project
coordination work for E-Democracy. Virginia had a cohort go through the
leadership program and they're still collaborating to make community projects
happen.
The deadline to apply is Aug. 26.
Cheers!
