Not everyone believes dietary fat is 'evil'. In fact, I'd rather eat fried
chicken than consume many so-called 'healthy' fruit 'smoothies' laden with
fructose. But hey, if they come from a hippie / trendy 'Local' shop rather
than an bad, popular multinational, that's gotta be better, right?
The problem with you (or rather, the Government) deciding for the rest of us
what constitutes 'good' from 'bad', nutritionally, is a) I can come to my
own conclusions, thankyou very much and b) you're not only setting yourself
up for a problem if it turns out to be incorrect, you'll be acting as a
backstop for advice that is now wrong. And, lo and behold, the (government
backed) dietary advice for the last 30 years (low fat, high carbohydrate)
has led to no reduction in disease and a population growing steadily fatter
and unhealthier, and now looks like it's totally wrong [*].
Now, I'm no particular friend of KFC, but it strikes me that those who seem
to oppose it might be better off arguing from a position that this can't be
done without change of use from A1 retail. I might also give pause for
thought as to why this forum seems so out of step with Headington at large -
for example, Starbucks was hugely controversial here, and yet extremely
popular with customers.
