City of Framingham Receives Notification that a Fourth Resident Tests Positive
for COVID-19
Board of Health to limit in-person public meetings through March 31
Fourth Framingham Resident Tests Positive for COVID-19: The City was informed
that a fourth resident has tested positive for the virus. The resident, who is
not related to Framingham's previous positive cases, recently traveled to
Europe and lives with another adult. The person is currently in isolation at
home.
Framingham Board of Health Limits In-Person Meetings: Last night the Board of
Health met to discuss parameters around COVID-19 and steps we need to take as a
community. The Board of Health has the responsibility to maintain the public's
health in Framingham. The Board voted unanimously to limit in-person meetings,
except for the City Council, and to use technology solutions set up by
Framingham's IT department to conduct remote meetings.
