received a mailer that gave me pause. I'm sharing it with you because this
primary determines who we get to choose as our next Governor, and a lot of
people who are hurting in MN need someone who will commit themselves to doing
the best job they can. A political action groups, the Alliance for Job
Committee, sent out a mailer that says one of the front-runners for MN
Governor, Tim Walz, "missed "almost 60% of his [Congressional] votes in 2018,
failing to stand up to President Trump, on issues like:" The Farm Bill
Repeal of Affordable Care Act Protections
Reinstate Preexisting Condition Exclusion in Health Policies
Sanctions Against Foreign Meddling in Elections
Fighting Sex Trafficking
Combatting Online Predators
Fighting the Opioid Epidemic
If this is true and he didn't show up for almost 60% of his votes in
Congress--and on such important pieces of legislation--then the mailer is
correct in stating that MN needs a governor who will show up to work, which
clearly disqualifies Tim Walz as a viable candidate for Governor. Thank you for
your thoughtful consideration, and for voting in the primaryon TUESDAY AUGUST
