Subject: [groupserver development] Improving Installation
To: <email obscured>
Hi All,
Recently Richard and I have been working on creating an install system
that is more resilient, smaller, and quicker. While there are a few
things to improve, especially with database creation, the system works
right now, and I thought some may like to play with the new system.¹
The code as it stands will become GroupServer 12.04 — Faloodeh Consumed
with an Eye on History. The release notes talk about what has changed
in the last six months.² Mostly the changes are to the infrastructure
that is used behind the scenes. However, the changes are very important
as it makes it easier to improve GroupServer.
Kind regards,
Michael
