The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is seeking a small
group of Minneapolis residents who can assist in the selection process
for the new MPRB Superintendent. The selection committee will be made up
of five people from a variety of backgrounds who can lend additional
perspective that takes into account information gained in numerous
community listening sessions held this summer, as well as operational
fitness.
The selection committee will meet in late September. No formal education
is required, however, experience with parks, human resources,
management, administration, safety, recreation, budgeting,
diversity/inclusion, and boards are helpful. Click the link below to

This is the group that will whittle down the 80+ applications to be our
new Superintendent of Parks to a reasonable level for the Superintendent
Search Committee of Commissioners to reaearch for the top 3 for public
interviews.
