June 8 regarding this forum and news. I asked people whether they thought I
posted too often about the meetings I attended and people I'm meeting. People
generally said they liked getting the information because they wouldn't have
gotten it otherwise nor would they have been able to seek out the issues if I
didn't post about them.
I remember how hard it was for community members when Frogtown lost its
neighborhood newspaper -- Frogtown Times was run by Tony Schmitz and then
Midway-Como Monitor had said it'd pick up the work post-Tony (only to end
distribution later).
I'm curious how people get their neighborhood news now. Is Frogtown at a
disadvantage in comparison to other St. Paul neighborhoods that have a
newspaper?
