My name is Talula, and I am part of a senior project group from the University
of Minnesota partnering with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB).
We are gathering insights on the perceptions and practices surrounding
fruit-bearing trees and shrubs in order to inform future planning for community
gardens in MPRB parks. We are also interested in the feasibility of and
interest in incorporating fruit trees and shrubs within Minneapolis community
gardens. Our goal is to provide recommendations to MPRB's Forestry Department
for future policies and initiatives related to fruiting trees. To collect this
information, we are conducting surveys with community gardeners at gardens
throughout Minneapolis.
To be involved, we are looking for gardeners. In addition, if you know of
anyone who is part of a community garden in Minneapolis and would be interested
in filling out a survey or talking to us, please send them my email -
<email obscured>.
Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to hearing from you!
We can only survey adults who are literate in English. The survey should take
around ten minutes to complete. Responses will be anonymous and all questions
are voluntary. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
