Hi all,
This Tuesday, April 22 and next Tuesday, April 29, we'll have our last
collaboration/open work sessions:
6-8 p.m.
Humphrey Center (map)
Room 50 (in the lower level, back of the computer lab)
These sessions can be useful if:
- you are looking for collaborators or want to network in general
- you want to get feedback from people you don't normally work with or
"workshop" an idea
- you want to talk about the "fit" of an idea or learn more about CURA:Tech
- you need a place to meet with collaborators and it's a convenient
time/location
This week (April 22), we'll be joined by a couple more mentors who can offer
advice about design process (especially defining the issue/need), as well as
communication strategy (for issues/projects where that is relevant).
This week we're also overlapping with the monthly Open Twin Cities meetup!
Open Twin Cities is a volunteer-driven group of people driven to improve civic
technology. OTC members are mostly technologists, so if you want to workshop
an idea with programmers, developers, designers, etc., this is a good spot!
Thanks,
Kristen
