I can't seem to find, on the web, last collection times for mail at Headington
post office - or any other one, for that matter.
Anyone happen to know last times for today, is there one on Sunday and the same
for Oxford if different?

Until a few months ago, the pillar box outside Headington Post Office had a
Sunday lunchtime collection which was very popular.
But I am afraid the Sunday collection there has now been abolished. Anything
posted anywhere in Headington after midday on Saturday doesn't get collected
until Monday morning.
There may still be a collection from St Aldate's Post Office on a Sunday, or
you may be able to drop items off at the sorting office: but maybe someone else
could confirm this, as things change so quickly (and always for the worse).
And Mailboxes do not have a Saturday collection at all, which is worth
remembering.

I investigated this at the end of May. I found that the the last collection
time anywhere in Oxford City - including St Aldate's Post Office and the
sorting office on Oxpens Road - is 12 mid-day on Saturday. There is no
collection after that until Monday morning.

I posted something at Headington Central PO a couple of days ago and noticed
that weekday last collection time is 6pm. Hope that helps

Thanks for the various replies; earlier, I cycled into town and posted there,
on a 'just in case' basis.
I couldn't see any signs indicating collection times at all - though the area
outside the PO seems to have turned into Language Student Central social area,
so it was rather crowded...
