next Public Hearing being held virtually on Tuesday, February 2, 2020 from
7-8:30 pm. We will be discussing racial inequality affecting women and
families of color in MetroWest.
The purpose of the hearing is to listen to testimony from individuals who
identify as female in the MetroWest area. While any testimony specific to the
hardships women are currently facing will be heard, we are looking for specific
testimony from women of color who have experienced racial prejudice and
systemic inequality. We will gather this information to share with elected
officials, community organizations and partners to continue the much needed
work of ensuring people of color, especially women of color, have full access
to equality here in our Commonwealth.
To meet the goal of identifying how we can best serve BIPOC women and families
living in MetroWest, we encourage you to join us for this important and timely
event both to share your experiences, and to hear from your neighbors about
what they have faced in our community.
Please RSVP via email to <email obscured> if you will be able to
join us, or if you have any questions. We hope to see you February 2.
