Sight: Human Trafficking in Massachusetts at 7pm.
Recognizing that human trafficking is everywhere, the panel will define the
types of trafficking occurring in the MetroWest, highlight the people most
vulnerable to being trafficked, and offer tips on how to spot and report
instances of human trafficking in your own community. Moderated by MetroWest
Commissioner Rachel Neimiec, our distinguished panelists will include:
• Senator Harriet Chandler
• Northborough Police Chief William B. Lyver
• A representative from Voices Against Violence
• A representative from LIFT (Living in Freedom Together
“Our overall goal is to bring awareness to the way people in our community are
experiencing human trafficking. As a survivor myself, I know there are
vulnerabilities that most survivors have in common. Understanding those
vulnerabilities will help us to address this issue and recognize it,” says
Rachel Neimiec, MWCSW Commissioner
