Your forum manager wants to know that you are comfortable here, and in
particular that if you want to post, you know how to do that. A
"Hands-Up" tells the forum manager, and all the other members, who is
reading the mail and also has the confidence to reply. It's an indicator
of the health of the network.
A bad response to a hands-up means people are not happy for some reason.
There are so many newbies in these Neighbours Forums, an uncertain
response is possible. All you need to do is "reply".
A reply to a "Hands-Up" should be short like a Twitter tweet. Maybe even
shorter. I'm going to post a couple of hands-ups in the next few hours.
But only to the networks with more than 20 registered members. I'll
tell you now the topics.
A street name hands-up That might identify areas of strength or weakness.
A where were you at 12:51 on 22 February? Hands up.
