From: Kay Ahlstrom
Mel, you tout your credentials, especially being a libertarian lawyer, and
yet you turn around and castigate and decry those who continue to express
their free speech prerogative. It seems it's ok to summarily criticize and
scold Jim Rizoli, Harold Wolfe or anyone with whom YOU don't agree like me,
and make it seem like you are championing a righteous cause. It seems you
are merely promoting yourself.
MY RESPONSE
You speaketh as you are not being righteous, but you come off as being
sanctimoniously hypocritical.
From: Kay Ahlstrom
I maintain that Mr. LaBarge DOES NOT know what's going on concerning much of
what he comments, like the situation concerning Mr. Wolfe. There should be
questions but not jumping to conclusions. A 'nice' person can get it wrong.
I hold out that I might not know all the circumstance, but I'm not prepared
to summarily dismiss or condemn someone because of my conclusions. There
should be a hesitation to do so.
MY RESPONSE
You speaketh as if you know more than enough to render the judgment that
Harold Wolfe is innocent on all charges. Did you see that page? If so, how
could you trust Mr. Wolfe with your children after he posted that dirty
page?
From: Kay Ahlstrom
As a consequence, I decry hypocritical characterizations and subjective
judgments like those made against Mr. Wolfe. Because a person's expressed
opinion of another can truly affect the treatment he receives from others -
his reputation. If one or two on this forum are to be protected, then
everyone should be. I think the rules are geared toward this.
MY RESPONSE
Mr. Wolfe's reputation? Are you kidding me? You must be living a sheltered
life!
From: Kay Ahlstrom
It seems, Mel, in your own pontificating against Harold and those you
dislike, you might inspire reactions of those who are ".... sick of
negativism, racism, xenophobia ...." about YOUR approach.
MY RESPONSE
You are absolutely correct when you quote that we are "... sick of
negativism, racism, xenophobia ..." coming from the likes of Mr. Wolfe.
From: Kay Ahlstrom
Judith, the only thing I stated against Mr. LaBarge was: "How dare you claim
to know what happened (concerning Mr. Wolfe), making your judgment after
having incomplete information."
I didn't realize there were certain UNTOUCHABLE forum members - those who
can do no wrong. Apparently Harold Wolfe, Jim Rizoli nor I made the list.
What if I were to promote Mr. Wolfe and Mr. Rizoli, that their personalities
and contributions to society, in my opinion, were completely worthwhile,
laudable and should be defended. I suspect I would be descended upon by the
selfsame members here because those self-appointed judges would determine my
support of those gentleman does not meet with their approval.
MY RESPONSE
We did not realize that Harold Wolfe and Jim Rizoli were UNTOUCHABLE in your
eyes... In your book, it's OK for Mr. Wolfe and Mr. Rizoli to use their free
speech to denigrate people, but nobody, again in your book, is allowed to
use their free speech to take those 'fine' gentlemen to task. Sorry, Madam
Ahlmstrom, it does not work that way!!!!!!!!!!!!
From: Kay Ahlstrom
I don't care for myself, on my behalf, but I will contend against bigoted,
jaded treatment I observe unfairly toward others.
MY RESPONSE
You are just full of malarkey, Madam Ahlmstrom. If you were really against
bigoted, jaded treatment as you claim, where is your outrage over that
webpage that Mr. Wolfe created? Let me remind you, Madam Ahlmstrom, that I
did not make up that dirty webpage nor did I post it in Mr. Wolfe's website,
which is full of bigotry of every kind. I have yet to see Mr. Wolfe make a
claim that his website has been hacked, thus I assume that he is perfectly
fine with that dirty page in his website. THAT IS MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR ME TO
RENDER THE OPINION THAT MR. WOLFE SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY CHILDREN IN HIS
RESIDENCE AT ANY TIME!!!!!!!! While you're at Mr. Wolfe's website, take a
look at the PROUD TO BE WHITE webpage and then you tell us in FramGov that
there is nothing bigoted there. Again, Madam Ahlmstrom, you are full of
malarkey.
