That link doesn't work, but Google tells us she's a personal injury
lawyer (just what we need, more lawyers) and daughter of Judge Miles
Lord. I'm sure she'll give Dick Franson a run for his money.

It is the DUTY of all DFLers to eschew the candidacy of the moderate,
almost-neocon-by-comparison pretender Al Franken, and support Priscilla, Lord
Faris, the one true DFLer in this campaign!
Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer would want you to do it! (When he isn't fulminating
about Bush conspiring about 9/11 - but I digress).
Drop what you're doing, and get out and donate until it hurts! YOU CAN BEAT
FRANKEN in the primaries!
Go! Let the wind drive your feet!
Priscilla, Lord Faris! Minnesota's future demands it!
Republicans; as you were.

A ringing endorsement of Al Franken, the next U.S. Senator from
Minnesota, from a Republican if I ever saw one (Republican or
endorsement). I'm also underwhelmed by Priscilla Lord Faris, but I
guess this and whatever other DFL candidates file by the deadline
tomorrow will further plague me with crippling yawns; Norm Coleman's
also got his hands full with a Republican in the primary, Jack
Shepard, who's running his campaign from Rome. Let's not forget the
third party candidates; I'm pulling for Bill Dahn, Independence
candidate, because he's a winner in my book and not like that other
guy on Larry King tonight (What's the deadline? 5 P.M. tomorrow?).
