It is an honor to lift up South Minneapolis voices and bring them to the
Capitol. I’m always interested to get your feedback to the e-updates I send
during and after the legislative session. During an election period, however,
regardless of whether or not legislators are running again for re-election,
they cannot use state resources for unsolicited communications because it might
create an unfair advantage. This will be my last update until after the
election.
I am, however, still available to help with the state-level inquires and
assistance. Thank you for joining me in our work together to improve the state
and our community. Please continue to reach out with any input, ideas, or
feedback at <email obscured> or 651-296-0173. I value hearing from you,
so please don’t hesitate to call or email me any time. You can also connect
with me on Facebook here.
One last reminder: This Friday, July 22 is the last day to apply for the
frontline worker bonus pay. Money set aside for this program will be split
equally among all approved applicants. Many in our community were not able to
work from home during the height of the pandemic and we all are very
appreciative of those who put themselves in harm’s way during the darkest days
of COVID-19. Check to see if you’re eligible and spread the word to friends and
family.
Best,
Representative Jim Davnie
