site. At the August PB meeting they were given a new deadline of 10/4 and the
potential consequence was the rescinding of the approval for the school. The
date was not met; the PB set a new date with absolutely no consequence for not
meeting it. Seems like weโre going backwards.
There were no updates on the litigation and my attempt to speak was gaveled
down as being out of order since this was not a public hearing.
The City should be embarrassed by its inability to get this done for over a
year and allowing the parties to have no consequences for their inaction. In
the meantime the neighborhood suffers (but are not allowed to speak.)
Through this all, the PB Administrator, Amanda Loomis, is extremely
knowledgeable and action-oriented.

$3K for the shrubs that he planted this week. He estimated he's spent $20 on
building berm thus far. Board Chair Christine Long called him out for dragging
his feet in getting these tasks completed. He was held to planting trees
despite his confusion. RCS' attorney said they will only pitch in and help
with planting if the land owner drops the ball. After nearly an hour old
minutes were retrieved to clarify what must be done by November 1 to stop the
erosion the discussion ended. Frustrated neighbors hoping to speak were told
that this was not a hearing and returned to their seats. All parties will
return on the Oct 26th for a status update.
