Framingham residents, especially for residents in the area of our city with
open space. By accepting the Community Preservation Act (CPA) Framingham would
be able to acquire some funds for open space preservation as well as for other
needed projects in our community.
The Audrey Hall Show has an excellent presentation of the facts.

WHAT I LEARNED
Money from real estate transactions in our city already goes into the state
fund but Framingham gets none of it back because we have not adopted the CPA-
instead it goes to other cities and towns. We could be using CPA money from
the State which Framingham did not buy into when failing to adopt the CPA for
projects the city needs to do. We could use it to increase open space
BTW: Open space has the most favorable financial impact to a community of any
other land use. Look at all we've already lost.. don't keep giving up more.
