for any students choosing to stay home after they open schools in early April.
It will be up to the teachers to figure a way to share their live lessons if
they want to do that action.

Any city planner or economic development person would tell you that schools are
key to attracting families to a community and no community grows positively
without new families that stay put.
This plan of SPPS will make sure the families flee Saint Paul as it shows the
lack of real commitment to educating its residents. When I ran for City
Council in 2015, I proposed a more active role of the City to promote education
as our Board of Education and the SPPS administration needs help and the future
of Saint Paul is at risk!
I hope our City Council steps up to plate to help the Board and administration
do the right thing - Equal educational opportunity for ALL residents.
