"The Lost Negroes of North America" with Filmmaker Ralph L. Crowder III
Hosmer Library - Basement Meeting Room
Saturday, February 10th
3:00-4:30PM
"Independent media journalist/filmmaker Ralph L. Crowder III will share an
examination of northern Black family and community life with rare video footage
captured circa 1945-1955 in South Minneapolis. Could the question of today's
generation be: "Was 'The Negro' more progressive than 'The African American'?"
The community's dialogue will assist in the shaping of the final film project
"The Lost Negroes of North America." Funded by Minnesota's Arts and Cultural
Heritage Fund."
Hope to see you here!
