down for scheduled maintenance. Our city should be adding bus lines
and buses instead of trying to cut service and raise fares.
We could have had ten years of free buses and added more routes for
the money spent on the Green Line. Too bad Minneapolis is not
progressive enough to give Personal Rapid Transit a try. We are going
the other way, with some nostalgic people dedicating our tax money to
put a replica trolley on Nicollet Mall. Can we say "Disneyland"?

Buses will replace Blue Line trains this weekend

Buses will replace trains beginning May 12 during a partial shutdown
of the METRO Blue Line to allow for scheduled maintenance.
From 6:45 p.m. Friday, May 12 until 5 a.m. on Monday, May 15, buses
will replace Blue Line trains for the following stations:
38th Street (northbound only)
Lake Street/Midtown
Franklin Avenue (southbound only)
