and now (said candidate) has disappointed me" when the candidate does something
that actually fulfills a campaign promise. I mean, politicians have the
reputation of being liars, but I find a majority of our locally elected
politicians seem to do exactly what they say they're going to do. I wonder why
supporters would be upset about that. How much attention were you paying when
you voted? How seriously do you take your right to vote?
I think that everytime voting day is near, I am reminding people that it is
most important to be an educated voter. It is worth repeating. Get to know the
candidates, learn about for whom and what you may be casting your vote.
