The food shelf serves hundreds of families between Cedar Ave and the
river, Lake St. south to Hwy 62 every month.
If you can't make it, but wish to donate, mail a check to:
Minnehaha Food Shelf, 3701 E. 50th St., Minneapolis, MN 55417
If you or your family needs food, the Food Shelf is open Tuesdays 10
AM to 3 PM at the address just above.
If you want to donate food, the best time is during the day on Tuesday
when the food shelf is open. There are blue barrels inside Minnehaha
United Methodist Church. During the day, if the door is locked, just
ring the bell and church secretary can let you in to donate.
If you wish to volunteer, call George Gallagher at 612-501-7078.
Normally food is delivered on Mondays (your cash donations bring in
most of the food via Second Harvest) and lots of volunteers help out
on Tuesdays.
