Join members of the Roseville Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee and City
staff on August 27 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic
Center Drive for a firsthand look at Roseville’s proposed Comprehensive Plan.
Every 10 years, cities throughout the metro area review and update their
comprehensive plans. Plans are then submitted to the Metropolitan Council. The
Met Council will review Roseville’s plan to ensure that it fits with regional
policies and is consistent with growth expectations within the seven county
metro area.
The draft plan is the culmination of work of the Comprehensive Plan Steering
Committee since October 2007. Built from a shared community vision, the
comprehensive plan is a framework for future growth and development. The plan
helps to ensure that the City meets the community vision.
The City of Roseville hired Hoisington Koegler Group Inc., to lead the Comp
Plan update. They worked with a Steering Committee of 13 Roseville citizens to
review existing conditions, identify community issues and define and designate
future land uses within the City. Roseville’s Comprehensive Plan includes goals
and policies on land use, housing and neighborhoods, transportation,
environmental protection, utilities, and economic development.
Copies of the draft plan and information about the comprehensive planning are
