Thursday, December 5th from 6:30 β 8:30 pm at Framingham State, Heineman
Ecumenical Center.
In October, a young woman, Jamia Maddrey, was murdered right here in our
community. We will be holding a candlelight vigil as part of this event for
Jamia showing support for her family.
Our speakers include experts in the field of domestic violence, including staff
from Voices Against Violence, EADV (Employers Against Domestic Violence),
MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham Schools, and the Framingham Police
Department. You will walk away from this event with actionable tools for what
you can do when you, or someone you know is in an abusive relationship, as well
as signs to indicate a relationship may be abusive.
Please join us for this important and informative event. Tickets are free but
seating is limited, so please sign up on our event page on Facebook at this
