Volunteers Needed
Can You Spare Some Time to Help Create
Wildflower Meadows in Victoria Park?

Above the water maze, on the hill facing St. Luke's Avenue/Hill Avenue
Local people and officers from Bristol City Council will be in Victoria Park
this coming Saturday, 18th October, to start the process of establishing
wildflower meadows in the Park and they need your help. We are looking for
volunteers (adults and children) to help out with raking and sowing. Stay for
the whole day or just for an hour or two. Light refreshments will be provided
but you should bring a packed lunch if you intend to stay all day. You should
wear appropriate outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear (Steels toe caps if you
have them). The work will be supervised by British Trust for Conservation
Volunteers and some tools will be provided, but bring your own rake, spade or
other tools if you wish.
