All residents of the City of Eau Claire and all persons interested are
invited to a Community Forum on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 beginning at 8
a.m. at the LE Phillips Senior Center, 1616 Bellinger Street, in Eau
Claire. Over the next months, the City will host a series of
community forums that will include an update on events and projects
anticipated in 2013, an overview of the 2013 budget, and information
on the anticipated priorities and challenges facing the City over the
next several years.
Subsequent forums are currently planned for May and August at other
sites within the city as part of a City Council Fiscal Policy Advisory
Committee initiative. The public forums are designed to provide an
opportunity for citizens to engage in public discussions about issues
related to the continued provision of public services in the Eau
Claire community.
For several years, the City has hosted similar community forums for
citizen input. In addition to the forum presentations, a handout
overview of the City’s fiscal environment is compiled and distributed
at the public meetings. The intent is to provide several opportunities
for the public to learn of and comment on city-wide priorities,
strategies and initiatives.
We hope you can join us.
