We had a redheaded woodpecker at the feeder a week or so ago, and a
pileated toward the beginning of this week. We've talked to people
who've seen deer, coyotes, and foxes in their yards. Anybody have a
sufficiently severe problem with wildlife that they called Minneapolis
animal control? Evidently St. Paul animal control comes out when people
have wildlife they complain about, traps the animal, and kills it.
There's an interesting article on the MPR website about urban wildlife,
but mostly focussed on St. Paul. Some Seward wildlife spotters may want
to submit comments.
