I've had a running battle with the St. Paul Pioneer Press on it's rotten
delivery service - ie: somewhere in the yard, 1 foot off the curb, in the
garden (with broken plants), everywhere but on the stoop, where I, as an
advanced aged old codger, prefer deliver, and am not always able to go on a
morning treasure hunt for my morning read.ย Then---and get this - they abruptly
stopped delivering. When I finally got in touch with the right person, i was
told it was because I hadn't paid, where, in fact, I was paid thru the
beginning of January = but = they had no record of it.ย My bank statement shows
it was received by them electronically on the due date, but the bank only
offers a "ACH TRACK" it cant be traced (I don't understand that either, but we,
as the common public aren't supposed to know).
So, not that it's much money, it's the principal of the whole thing.ย Aren't
the subscription services trying to save their butts?ย You can't prove it by
me!ย Chloe
