My seed starts had mold on them, so I consulted Dr Goodle. Out of all the
suggestions, I liked the idea of very diluted peroxide best. I reasoned
that H2O2 doesn't change the pH and adds neither troublesome inorganics or
organics. Even better, not-old peroxide is in all our medicine cabinets,
even though we no longer use them on cuts. There seemed to be a suggestion
that I could use the 2T/1qt dilution to water the seeds too. So far it
doesn't seem to be troubling them, but it's early days yet.
But I'm curious about y'all's experience with H2O2 in this dilution. Have
you used it on your house plants, either as a spray or for regular
watering? I'm asking here because nobody on this list is trying to sell
something, unlike someone I might ask in a nursery or online.
Thanks for all y'all's sincere advice!
