PMC accessibility notes: The PMC is on the corner of Chicago Avenue and 41st
Street East. There is a stop for the number 5 bus that is right in front of our
building on Chicago Avenue. Parking is street parking and there is usually
space on Chicago.
The PMC is not currently wheelchair accessible. We have a transportable
wheelchair ramp that we have on hand that we can put in place for anyone who
would like to use it. There is a small step into the building and a small step
between the main PMC space and the bathroom. While not wheelchair accessible,
the bathroom and steps between have hand rails. The space is a low scent space.
We have a range of seating options and provide bolsters, pillows and blankets
to support any kind of sitting. Additionally, standing or moving across the
floor is always welcome at our events. Let us know if you need assistance of
any kind. Because the space is not fully wheelchair accessible, transfers and
any bathroom assistance is available.
Events are sliding fee and no one is turned away for lack of funds.
