Northeast Child Development Center
Hiring a full-time Teacher to work with infants ages 6 weeks to 15 months.
Pay rate is $15.00-$17.00 per hour, DOQ.
Hours: This position is Monday-Friday. Variable shifts scheduled during our
hours of operation (7:30 am-5:30 pm).
The Infant Teacher is responsible for providing a warm and nurturing
environment that meets the needs of each child in the classroom; is responsible
for the children's health and safety at all times; plans and implements
learning readiness skills and social experiences appropriate to the age level
of the children; is able to multi-task, and provide educational activities and
plans family events in order to provide a high quality early learning
environment for children.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the daily overall supervision and class functions of children.
Assessments of each child's developmental development.
Maintains individual daily schedules for babies.
Prepares 2 annual parent - teacher conferences and completes 6 month goals for
each child.
Maintains a clean organized classroom that is age appropriate.
Maintains classroom bulletin board displays on a monthly basis including parent
info board.
Responsible for necessary housekeeping duties for the classroom and adjoining
areas.
Maintains USDA meal count daily.

* First Aid and CPR required.
* Completion of SUIDS, AHT and OSHA upon hire.
* Previous experience working in a licensed childcare setting and/or
related education is preferred.
* Ability to relate positively to a diverse population.
* Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, bend at the waist frequently and
lift up to 25 lbs. in connection with handling of children for daily
operations, child health and safety and potential emergencies.
* The candidate must pass: a criminal background check, DHS background
check & fingerprinting.
