I don't know where anybody gets the thought that I endorse what Ted said in his
letter to the WDN on 10-31-08. I do not.
However, Ted seems to be getting a whole bunch of rancor, which he perhaps
deserves; The rancor itself eclipses the thought he expressed.
Guess what? Ted got up on his soapbox, and made his opinion known. Love it.
hate it, or be indifferent. That is YOUR opinion, just like HIS opinion!
What disturbs me the most is the situation at hand....Ted's opinion has been
dismissed out of hand simply because it is generally unpopular, and on a
secondary note, not exactly popular on this thread.
Ted does not deserve special consideration, which some members on WOD seem to
think I endorse. I don't.
But, I do respect the fact that the man made his opinion known, and it seems on
this thread that: Delivery far outweighs real thought....
Discourse does not require you to agree, but perhaps it does require you to be
at least tolerant of other views. Even if you disagree.
