The Framingham Unit of the League of Women Voters and The MetroWest Daily News
will be holding the first of two remaining Candidatesā Showcase on Saturday,
October 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Nevins Hall, 150 Concord St. in Framingham.
This Showcase will highlight the 18 candidates for District Council seats.
There will be three sessions, each 50 minutes long and start with the
candidates for District Council from Districts 1-3. The second session will
feature candidates for Districts 4-6 Districts, followed by District 7-9
candidates.
The Moderator will ask the candidates questions composed by the Framingham Unit
of the League of Women Voters and The MetroWest Daily as well as questions
submitted by residents in advance. Questions from residents may be submitted
for consideration until October 5th via email to <email obscured>.
All District Council candidates will be invited to participate in this
important event. This Candidatesā Showcase provides Framingham voters with a
chance to see and hear the candidates both in person and on Government Access
TV prior to the November 7th general election.
The League of Women Voters is a citizensā organization that has fought since
