Aging, Senior Community Services Employment Program has positions open for job
development and training. The eligibility requirements include: Β· 55
years and older, Β· Unemployed, Β· Income meets federal low
income guidelines; at or below $14,588/year for a single person (SSI
Disability, G.A., Unemployment Compensation and some other income is not
counted, please request more info on this) LOCATIONS AVAILABLE:MIAAA Office
Aide located at the MCT Building in Cass Lake, MN-Greeting clients, operating
incoming calls, typing, filing, assist with events, assist with SCSEP duties as
assigned, etc.-Must have some knowledge of computer programs like Word and
Internet and willing to enhance skills in this area.-Must have good customer
service skills and willing to do Outreach to let the communities know about our
programs, services and events.- Part-Time Temporary at 19 hrs/wk $8.00/hr
(while you are seeking other employment.)- Hours and work days are flexible
Monday through Friday between 8:00am -4:30pm SCSEP Job Developer Advocate
located at the MCT Building in Cass Lake, MN but travel required* Temporary
through June 30, 2015.* Meet with current and potential SCSEP participants to
determine skill levels, interests, etc (travel to MCT communities required)*
Seek new participants as vacancies occur (outreach).* Locate and engage
contact/communication with local job opportunities in their area as a
liason/advocate.* The goal is to help clients obtain unsubsidized employment.*
Must have some knowledge of computer programs like Word and Internet and
willing to enhance skills in this area.* Must have good customer service skills
* Must have a valid license, auto insurance and use of personal vehicle*
Compensation for Mileage, Hotel and Per Diem* 30 hrs/wk $10.50/hr. Monday
