Hello all,
The latest PACT meeting took place at St Francis Church, North Street at
7pm yesterday evening.
We had our best turn out since running this format with approximately 50
people attending which was excellent. I think the location helped a
great deal and the fact that some people had seen the posters that we
distributed over the area. We will be definitely using this location in
October and hopefully we will attract more as word of mouth spreads. The
general feedback at the end of the meeting was very positive and we even
obtained some pictures from a local resident showing some drug dealers
and users which will provide us with some excellent intelligence.
The following priorities were set :-
1. Drug dealing in the area
2. Burglaries
3. Parking issues across the beat
If anybody who didn't make the meeting last night would like to add some
comments about the issues above, please feel free to post any messages
on the forum.
The next PACT will take place sometime in October
