hola, my name is erin. i thought i'd a drop a few
lines about myself.
I am a farmer,poet, weaver and spinner. i live on a
large farm in anton chico, having just moved here from
chacon in the mora valley.
I'm one of those working poor folks, i've lived well
below the poverty line for most of my life. I'm
interested in sustainable local economies for all the
obvious revolutionary, life affirming reasons but at
the same time -very- weary of gentrification. I love
las vegas precisely because it is a new mexican town,
not a california town in new mexico....if you get my
drift.
i'd love to see more local, chem free produce
available in las vegas....its sorely lacking. we're
hoping to get some going here on the farm this summer.
in the past this place was a csa farm but its been a
few years.
i'm all for the csa concept.
i'm also interested in sustainable (not corporate)
biodiesel and wvo. i've an old mercedes thats runs on
used veggie oil.
