(Special Announcement from St. Paul E-Democracy)
Dear Friends:
The St. Paul E-Democracy Outreach Committee is currently in need of some
volunteers to assist with our fall schedule. Without sufficient volunteers, we
may find ourselves unable to continue our workshop schedule.
Are you willing to serve as a workshop assistant for 1 or more of our workshops
this fall? We'll provide any training that you need.
The role of a workshop assistant is to:
1) Work with the presenter to set-up the room and deal
with any logistical issues that come up during the workshop
2) Help seat and "catch-up" late arrivals for the workshop
3) Deal with special needs of workshop participants
4) Offer input/feedback on the content of the workshop
You do not need to be an expert in the topic, to be a workshop assistant. Feel
free to volunteer to assist with a workshop that you would simply like to learn
more about.
We view the role of workshop assistant as an opportunity to develop future
workshop presenters, however anyone is welcome as a workshop assistant,
regardless of whether or not they plan to present workshops in the future.
Which workshops are you interested/willing
to assist with?
