citizens tend to expect greater accountability from government than from most
organizations."
Specific terms and conditions include:
"All social media communications are public records and subject to FOIA
requests."
"All e-mail, voice mail and other electronic means of communication must comply
with the Open Meeting Law and treated as subject to discovery."
"In the use of such electronic equipment, the user represent the Town of
Framingham and agrees to conduct him or herself in a professional, courteous,
business-like and customer service oriented manner."
"Under absolutely no circumstance is any Town property to be utilized to
solicit, harass or otherwise offend or for any unlawful purpose."
The final statement before the signature line is:
"I understand that my access may be monitored and/or revoked for failure to
comply with these guidelines... and in addition could result in disciplinary
action up to and including termination and/or appropriate legal action(s)."
