Hello Frogtown Neighbors,
My name is Robert, and I have lived in the Frogtown neighborhood for, well
Holloween will be 18 years, neer Milton/ Thomas ave.. I like the location and
all the close proximity to shopping and grocerys and malls. The mix of people
is great too.
I remember when I first moved here their was the Frogtown Dinner on University
ave. now its a market,
the Flamberger on Minnehaha, now its a deli/superette. and the Minnehaha
bowling ally had the best little resturant in it, your dinner came with a fresh
popover. (dinner was usually, the fried chicken, it was great.)
I noticed they just knock the bowl down, I hope they/we do somthing good with
that spot?
I heard a saying once that "If you do not conceed to change, change will forced
upon you" . or something like that. I have seen some change in the
neighborhood and would like to see more changes in the area for the better. I
am very excited about this neighborhood forum, I think we have a real
opportunity to do somthing good for the frogtown area.
About me: I now work at Farmers Insurance. after beeing laid off in December I
went back to school and got my Property/Casualty licence (Home & Auto) and
Life, Health licence so I can sell Insurance. I just started with Farmers and
am hoping to do some marketing in the area soon, Weather its door knocking or
mailings some of you may hear from me. We also offer a couple of items that
may of interest, A neighborhood watch program, and a program called "M. I. L.
K" what that involves is IDing your children with photos put on a CD and
Fingerprinting them, (only takes about 5 min.) and we set up a booth at events
that parents and children will attend. I worked one at the fair this year and
it was very well recieved. The fingerprints and current photo are vital if you
ever need to issue a AMBER allert.
I would like to be your local Farmers Insurance Agent, or if you just have a
insurance question or need a FREE quote. Please give me a call (cell)
