Hello everyone.
For those of you who do not know me, I operate a farm in Anton Chico. We
operate "organically" although we are not certified or registered at this
time. We may register for legal reasons so our lands are never sprayed or
subjected to over-sprays by other entities. As well we would like to
convert all our livestock to organic/non gmo concentrates.
We purchase a lot of our organic products from a California supplier (many
of you may be familiar with them, Peaceful Valley) because there are no
local suppliers (Farmway and Mallets are great, but lack in the organic
section), and stores in Santa Fe and Albuquerque are extremely limited. I
wonder how many other people would go the organic route if they could more
easily obtain organic/non gmo seeds and organic soil and plant products and
feed. This email is a questionnaire is this regard:
Would you be interested in buying local organic farm/garden supplies and
feed?
If so would you be interested in creating a co-op to operate and purchase *
affordable* organic farm/garden supplies and feed?
I feel this could benefit our entire communitiy and environment as well as
foster alternative agricultural education. What do you think?
thanks and best,
