The Argus have reported that a key policy (car-free housing: policy H07 in
Local Plan) has been abandoned.
does anyone know anything about this?

Policy H07 in Local Plan, which attempts to ban residents from having a car in
new developments in Controlled Parking Zones, has been modified such that
residents in that development who are blue badge holders will be able to apply
for a resident’s parking permit now.
