this group into more action online) and new Participation 3.0 working
groups, I'd like to encourage you to provide input on the update to
E-Democracy.org's strategic plan update:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/e-democracystrategicplan
It will take 5-7 minutes.
As you know with the new funding for http://e-democracy.org/p3 - we
are already going to spending lots of time convening and moving the
local "e-democracy" field in addition to our incumbent "Issues Forum"
base. With dozens of Issues Forum volunteers guiding or contributing
to their local forums everyday, our 2007-2009 plan covered them well.
That plan also envisioned civic education and the extension activities
are now just rolling out, BUT the strategies are quite generic. As
many of you are newly signed up to participate in efforts that are
just getting under way, your fresh perspective can help shape our next
wave of activities to inspire broad involvement for years to come.
While it would certainly be nice to attract future funding so we can
take our mission further, we've always been driven at our core by
volunteer interest and energy. So, please help us shape our updated
strategic plan so we can inspire your deeper involvement and invest
the resources required to connect that inspiration into action.
