I know things aren't good. Ask if you need help.

I've been following Hildy Gottlieb for a couple of years now. She mostly
talks about building better voluntary organisations. Here she is talking
about unemployment, a big problem in the USA, right now.
"How can organizations and individuals move past fear? Hildy Gottlieb
talks about reaching beyond ourselves to build collective strength."
What she said resonates well with what several speakers said at the
workshop the Greens ran at New Brighton on Sunday. Essentially we have
to make our own future, and we do that by being a community.
Here's what I wrote to Hildy about this video.
"Excellent Hildy
You are talking about unemployment.
The problem in my community, Christchurch, New Zealand, is the effect of
many earthquakes. People are frightened. And defeated. And beaten down.
Nature is too big to fight.
Your message is on song. What we do have is each other.
We empower ourselves by reaching out to others.
We need to ask more questions to empower ourselves.
We need to be there for each other. "
