(https://www.spps.org/Page/34303) More than 450 Saint Paul Public School
student artists, vocalists and instrumentalists will showcase their skills and
talents during the 27th annual Honors Concert on Tuesday, April 17 at the
<http://www.ordway.org/> Ordway Center for the Performing Arts. This annual
event includes an instrumental and vocal concert, performance art and a
projected video of original student Honors artwork.
- General admission tickets to the Honors *concert* are $5 and can be purchased
at Ordway’s box office the night of the event, by phone at 651-224-4222 or
online at Ordway.org <https://ordway.org/performances/> . The event will also
include a free Student Showcase prior to the concert.
- The Honors student *artwork* will be shown May 17-June 3 at Indigenous Roots
Cultural Arts Center, 788 E. 7th Street, Saint Paul. It features selected
paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures and other works. Hours are Monday
through Friday, 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and from 4:30-6:30 p.m, or by
appointment Saturday-Sunday. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
