Hi All,
Today a playground in St. Paul is going to be dedicated in the memory of St.
Paul Police Sgt. Gerald Vick, who was killed in the line of duty three years
ago on May 6th. The dedication starts at 4:00 PM at 1109 Margaret Street and a
short memorial service will follow the dedication of the park.

I think it is a great honor for the city to be dedicating this park in Sgt.
Vick’s memory. Sgt. Vick is a hero in my book. The hours and hours of
investigative police work that he put in helping to keep the bad guys off the
streets is amazing. Sgt. Vick’s enormous efforts to get help to the most needy
people he met while doing his job is a testament to his giving heart. These
people really needed a helping hand to get out of the rut they were in and Sgt.
Vick provided that help. Thank you Sgt. Vick!
I am very proud of the service of Sgt. Vick and St. Paul is also proud of Sgt.
Vick by dedicating a park in his memory.
Sincerely,
John Krenik
